Lori Albright, CNM
	Lori is a birth center pioneer in Pittsburgh. Her son was the first boy born at the original Birthplace on Ellsworth Avenue in Shadyside. After that experience, Lori became an RN birth assistant, childbirth educator, and Birthplace board member. She pursued her education in midwifery so that she could provide high quality, individual, low-tech health care to expecting women and their families. Lori earned her RN from St. Francis School of Nursing (1979) and her certificate of nurse-midwifery from The Medical University of South Carolina (1987).
