Our party is sweeter than the Oscars and a whole lot closer to home. And you're invited! Come on down to The Midwife Center's 10th anniversary fundraiser party and cake contest, Let Them Eat Cake. The party will include refreshments, a silent auction, photo booth, entertainment, and of course - cake.
Amateur and professional bakers and decorators from around the region will take you out for a night at the theater with incredible cakes based on films, film production, the excitement of going to the theater, and more. You and our panel of judges will get to vote on your favorite cakes. Get ready to be amazed by Pittsburgh's best and most innovative bakers and cake decorators!
WHERE: Pittsburgh Opera, 2425 Liberty Ave, Strip District
WHEN: Saturday, April 25, 2015, 7:30-10:00pm. VIP Baker's Reception (with purchase of VIP Ticket) from 6:30-7:30pm.
Individual VIP tickets: $125 each ($100 is tax-deductible).

All VIP tickets include the VIP Baker's Reception from 6:30-7:30pm with cinematic cocktails featuring Maggie's Farm Rum, an open beer & wine bar, hors d'oeuvres, a piano performance featuring songs from your favorite films, and more.
MAIN EVENT TICKETS: $60 in advance / $75 at the door ($45 / $50 is tax-deductible), includes cake tasting and decorated cakes display, entertainment from DJ Zombo, a show-stopping silent auction, refreshments, wine, beer from The BeerHive, and more to come. You can also practice for your audition in our fabulous photo booth!
